![]() Manager - Kay Level 3 Childcare & Education, SENCO
Kay has been involved with the group since her own children attended, initially as a committee member and volunteer. She undertook foundation stage training in pre-school practice and worked as an assistant at the group from 1987. In 1990 she took on the supervisor role and has managed the group ever since. Prior to having children Kay worked as a PA to a large local Architectural Practice. In her spare time Kay likes to ride horses, garden and walk her dog, Remy.
Deputy Manager - Anne CCLD Level 3 Childcare, Learning & Development, ENCO, CPO
Anne has been with the group since 1994, initially working part time but quickly progressed to working all the sessions and completed her level 3 training in 1996, up-dating in 2009. Prior to joining the group Anne raised her family and worked in catering.
Senior Assistant - Lorraine Level 3 Childcare & Education
Lorraine became involved in the group when her own children attended. She was initially a member of the committee, first as Treasurer and then as Secretary, but progressed to working in sessions when her children started school. Prior to working at the group Lorraine worked in a bank for 12 years. She spends her spare time reading, listening to music, catching up with friends and running around after her husband and two children.
Supervisor - Eve Early Years Teacher
Eve has 3 children and became involved with the group they attended, taking the role of Treasurer on the Committee. She quickly became invaluable on the paperwork side of things and as her children grew and left she took on a permanent position as Administrator. She trained to Level 3 in Childcare and achieved her Early Years Teacher Status, now leading the learning. Eve has recently achieved her Degree and Early Years Teacher Status.
Second Assistant - Karen Certificate in Pre-school Practice Level 2
Karen's children both attended the group; she became involved as Treasurer and helped on a voluntary basis whilst her younger daughter attended. Prior to having children Karen was a PA in a large finance company and any spare time she finds she enjoys walking her dogs (for peace & quiet), reading and music but is usually found driving her two daughters to their many activities.
Assistant - Judi Swan Qualified Teacher Status Judi's Children attended the setting and Judi took an active role in the Committee, working hard organising events and supporting new committee members. Judi was our Treasurer for several years. She decided she would like to convert her Teacher training for Early Years and completed this in 2019, taking on a role within Preschool. |
