As part of the Group's policy to ensure its provision meets the needs of each individual child, we take account of any special/additional needs a child may have and work to the requirements of the 1993 Education Act and the Special Education Needs Code of Practice (2001).

Parents as Partners

Our setting recognises parents as the first and most important educator of their children. Parents are regarded as members of our setting and have full participatory rights. These include being valued and respected, being kept informed and consulted, involved and included at all levels. As a community-led, voluntary-managed setting we also depend on the goodwill of parents and their involvement to keep going.
